INFO

Project518 is more than just two guys playing lots of different instruments, writing and re-writing all their own songs, recording, mixing, re-recording, re-mixing, and mastering in their own professional studio. They're about helping other people, too.

First up, on the guitar as his main instrument, Ronnie Winstead also lays down bass guitar, strings, keys, percussion and other things they forgot about writing down. He also heads up Virtual Adrenaline Studio as the owner/head engineer. Realizing way back when that he had a natural talent for guitar, Ronnie was able to convince his teachers to let him take some of his tests by making up songs and rocking out with the answers. We've all heard of the class clown, but class rocker?

Little things like this instilled an early love for writing and creating music that is still going strong. It was this love of music and exceptional talent that had him playing locally in different churches and bands when someone was needed to play guitar or bass that could just step in and get the job done.

Most notably he has played behind celebrated guitarist Phil Keaggy when he would come to town and needed a band. (Don't know Phil Keaggy? He's the guy Eric Clapton said was the best guitarist on the planet!)

Eric Baker claims alto saxophone as his main instrument, but then proceeds to play soprano sax, piano, guitar, bass, strings, percussion, midi editing (if needed), and probably a few other things as well. He has been partnering with Ronnie at Virtual Adrenaline Studio since somewhere around 2002, although they've both forgotten exactly when.

Before all that, though, Eric joined in the US Army's 82nd Airborne Division Band right out of high school, where he got to play for such people as Vice-President George H. Bush and Bob Hope. Having already picked up various instruments along with his alto saxophone, such as clarinet, piano, guitar, bass and mellophone, the Army gave him a chance to play flute, oboe, bassoon, trumpet, tuba and anything else he could get hold of.

Writing songs for church and jazz bands since high school, he continues his love of music by leading worship and writing songs for his church and playing any jazz gig he can get. That includes concerts, restaurants, weddings, events... and even funerals.

And lately Eric has also become a published author. You can find out more about his series, "Zombie Wild West" (a western themed zombie book that even Christians can read!), and other things he's doing at his website: www.ericbaker.org.

Virtual Adrenaline Recording Studio in Lawrenceville, GA, can be found INSIDE Sugarloaf Mills Mall. Yes, that's right, it's inside the mall. From what we can find, we're the only music/video studio to do that. Cool, right?

We have a full-featured music studio that can handle large bands or groups of vocalist. We also have an extremely well put-together video studio with an infinity wall (think 'Matrix' scenes where the weapons slide in), as well as floor-to-ceiling black and green screens.

We are very serious about our "family friendly" policy, and one of our specialties is helping new artists write great songs.
